Stephanie Schlotzhauer, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Schlotzhauer grew up in New Franklin, Missouri, and graduated from the University of Missouri in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She then went on to complete her D.V.M. in 2016. After graduation, she worked in a small animal ER and then a mixed animal practice near the Lake of Ozarks before joining Horton Northeast. She is passionate about animal behavior and has interests in nutrition, opthamology and exotics.
Dr. Schlotzhauer is glad to be back home and close to family. Outside of work, she is an avid reader, loves to hike and camp, and play board games and video games with friends and family.
Her personal zoo consists of four dogs—Beretta, an Australian Shepherd, Cricket, a Golden Retriever, and Imber and Artemis—as well as three cats (Scotty, Jarvis, and Remington), six Dutch Rabbits (Stewart, Winston, Oliver, Nyx, Nocte and Hazel), two Betta fish and Quigley, the Bearded Dragon.
