At Horton Animal Hospital-Northeast, our goal is keeping your pet happy and healthy. Thanks to modern diagnostics and our on-site laboratory, we're able to do just that for sick and injured pets.

We have an in-house lab at HAH which allows us to perform vital blood tests quickly and accurately. For sick pets, this speedy diagnostics turn-around means we can formulate a treatment plan during your appointment, vs. having to wait hours or days for results. Maintenance of chronic conditions, such as thyroid or other endocrine disorders, is also quicker and easier.

Pre-anesthetic testing is also done in-house, allowing us to evaluate your pet’s internal organs prior to general anesthesia and surgery. Running these tests can help identify common issues that may require a change to how anesthesia is given to your pet.
