Cheyenne Macias, DVM

Originally from Phoenix, Arizona. Having volunteered at a local humane society in Phoenix and working at a veterinary practice she knew that veterinary medicine was her passion. Dr. Macias graduated from the University of Arizona where she received her B.S in pre-veterinary science with a minor in biochemistry. Making the move to Missouri, she attended the University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine where she obtained her DVM in 2022. Dr. Macias completed preceptorships here at Horton Northeast in both her third and fourth years of vet school before joining the professional staff after graduating. She has professional interests in dermatology and nutrition. Outside of work Dr. Macias enjoys reading, embroidering, and listening to true crime podcasts. She has three dogs at home: Olive the Newfoundland, Trigger the Labrador, and Murray the Australian Shepard.
