Kevin Shull, DVM

Born in Higginsville, Missouri, Dr. Shull had a diverse beginning to his veterinary career. After graduating from the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008, Dr. Shull worked at a small animal hospital and a 24-hour emergency clinic in the St. Louis area and, most recently, within a research company outside of Columbia. Dr. Shull’s foray into research helped him realize he missed working with pets and their families, and we were excited to have him join the staff at Horton Northeast.

Dr. Shull and his wife are avid Mizzou fans and love Columbia, having both gone to MU. The Shulls were active in Marching Mizzou and involved with Newman Center Catholic Church while in college. In his free time, Dr. Shull enjoys running, photography, music (church choir and occasional guitar), and DIY home-improvement projects. Dr. Shull and his wife have been married since 2008. They have two children—and a cat named Truman (of course!).
